Laura Gómez-Mera

Dr. Laura Gómez-Mera is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Miami. She holds a Doctorate in International Relations from the University of Oxford, a Master's in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of San Andrés. Her research and teaching interests are focused on International Political Economy and the Political Economy of Development, with a regional emphasis on Latin America.

Her distinguished professional career is marked by numerous publications of scientific articles in books and academic journals.
