Dr. José Fredman Mendoza Ibarra is a prominent academic and research professor at the School of Law and Social Sciences at the University of Monterrey. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy with specialization in Political Sciences, awarded Summa Cum Laude by the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. Additionally, he possesses a Master 's degree in Political Sciences from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León.
Dr. Mendoza is a distinguished member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) by CONACYT, where he holds the title of National Emeritus Researcher. at Level C. His research interests focus on topics related to citizen participation, indigenous political participation, democracy, collective action, interculturalism and migration. Furthermore, Dr. Mendoza's contributions stand out due to his vast publications of scientific articles in academic journals and national newspapers, as well as authoring chapters in books. Dr. Mendoza's professional trajectory is characterized by his numerous scientific publications, his active involvement in various research, and his influence on current and future generations of professionals in the fields of social and political sciences at UDEM.
