Biosketch
Philippe Stoesslé - PhD in Sociology - is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the University of Monterrey (UDEM). Professor of Political Science and Governance and International Relations, his research expertise revolves around the access to health of people in a precarious mobility situation or settled in the northeast of Mexico, as well as the dynamics of inclusion/exclusion resulting from interethnic relations.
Associate researcher at the laboratory "Unité de Recherche Migrations et Société" (URMIS) of the Université Paris Cité, he is also a fellow of the Collaborative Institute on Migration and member of the National System of Researchers (SNI in Spanish), level 1.
He is also a founding member of the Civil Association "Solidaridad en el Éxodo A.C.", dedicated to the comprehensive care of migrants in the State of Nuevo León, and collaborates with different authorities and civil society organizations in the state of Nuevo León.
